Product Director

Mediatonic is a leading independent developer, focused on live games.

We’ve been in business for 13 years and with a development team of over 150 people, we’re one of the largest independent studios in the UK.

We have been building Free-to-Play games for 8+ years and have developed multiple top-grossing titles, including New Yahtzee with Buddies (Currently top 30 US grossing)

Our Product Director is responsible for the commercial success of our titles.

You are a supportive and naturally authoritative figure who enjoys the success of others, steps into the breach in tough times and really gets to grips with project detail.

The role has Leadership Responsibility for:

  • Commercial performance of our titles
  • Game UA & Marketing (Sometimes internal, often external)
  • Forecasting, reporting, KPI analysis and predictions
  • Recruiting, training and mentoring a best in class Product team

Success looks like:

  • Other disciplines in the studio actively seek out advice of the Product team
  • Learnings and Success is documented & knowledge is shared in the studio
  • Commercially successful titles
  • Forecasts and P&L models accurately match outcomes
  • Exceptionally strong relationships with our partners

You are practical, pragmatic, offering advice and guidance based on real data and market insight.

You love numbers and are adept at building models, forecasts and dashboards. Most importantly, you know how to define the right questions to get the highest impact results out of our data.

You have a deep understanding of our audience and its many segments. You understand how different players interact with content and are able apply map this knowledge to complex game designs and UX wireframes.

You have a raw passion for games and are keen to provide our players with the best possible experience.


  • 5+ Years XP working in F2P / Live Gaming (Or directly comparable field
  • Direct Experience working on / managing Top 100 Grossing game(s)
  • Passion to make great games
