Mediatonic is seeking a management-level Business Developer to help us achieve the next level in our ambitions.
As Business Development Manager, your role is to foster, create and deliver the very best opportunities for the studio, owning the delivery of our partnership strategy. You seek out & generate relationships with the best games companies in the world to enable the creation of ground-breaking titles, striving to enable the delivery of our commercial and creative aspirations.
A rock star communicator, you own understanding & on-tone representation of the studio and take partnerships through the full sales pipeline: from reputation and relationship building, through closed commercial deal to ongoing relationship support & delivery tracking.
Hyper-professional communication skills are a given. Down-to-earth, warm, passionate and astute, you care deeply about your work & the studio, and take pride and ownership in the success of the business and its relationships.

Safeguarding the Studio’s reputation
Representing Mediatonic out in the industry and around the world
Managing the Sales Pipeline
Pulling deals through identification & qualification through to a signed project, you will sign large-scale partnership deals, striving for and delivering ambitious and rewarding projects for the studio
Sniffing out Opportunity
Identifying opportunities across the industry, joining the dots from ethereal concept to signed commercial partnership
Selective Partnership Brokering
Finding and nurturing the right partnerships, projects & agreements – we’re looking for the right teams, the right titles, and the right terms, not the quick and easy deal.
Negotiating the best possible terms in line with our business strategy; brokering excellent commercial and delivery terms that foster positive long-term working relationships.
Contribution to Goal & Strategy Development
Contributing to the evolving strategy of the business by providing excellent, consistently up to date market knowledge
Fostering excellent relationships with internal and external partners at all levels: working with VPs and C-level executives as often as Production teams.
