Associate Producer

Associate Producer

Fortitude Games is looking for a keen-minded Associate Producer to join our studio to support and
help develop our growing production team.

Associate Producer is an entry-level role that would ideally suit a Senior/Lead QA technician, or
someone who has worked in the video games industry for several years and is looking for the next
step on their career path.

We place strong emphasis on developing and training our Associates in the project-management
best practices they’ll need to excel — as well as providing meaningful hands-on management
experience in a dynamic (and demanding!) work environment.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Task tracking and schedule reporting.
  • Spotting potential problems and risks before they harm the development cycle of the game.
  • Managing whole sections of game production.
  • Identifying and communicating gaming trends to the whole company.
  • Contribute to the production of game documentation: designs, schedules, reports etc.
  • Liaising with external clients, agencies and vendors.
  • Ensuring meetings and agreements with clients are properly documented and actioned.
  • Reviewing regular game builds to ensure all games meet our high standards before release.
    • (You must be able to describe bugs and problems clearly and concisely to all members of the QA teams both internal and external)
  • Presenting games to people both internally and externally.

Candidates must:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in the video games industry.
  • Possess working knowledge of digital downloads on mobile, consoles and Facebook.
  • Be an effective and self-motivated communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have a genuine enthusiasm for making and playing all types of video games.
  • Have strong time management skills with the ability to focus and prioritise in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Be a collaborative and dynamic team-player who is able to work with many different types of personality.

Working at Fortitude

  • In addition to joining a hardworking and close-knit team of passionate game developers, at Fortitude
  • you’ll be part of social events and activities during and outside of work time, including (but not
  • limited to) regular Board Game nights (with pizza), and weekly team lunch outings together on the
  • company!
